We recently visited The Milk Factory as we wished to see a particular singer from Sydney who was performing at this venue.Our days - or actually nights of haunting the pubs and clubs are long gone but this was great fun. Many young hip twenty somethings gathering for a Saturday night on the town.They have a simple food menu which we sampled and enjoyed. The food was fresh and well presented. I had a salmon bagel with salad which was yummy. My husband had club sandwiches - toasted - with chips which he declared excellent !Wine was available by the glass.The music venue was a room to one side - $15 entry and the performers were fantastic.The young man I was speaking with told me they had taken over the Milk Factory nine months ago and were working hard to raise standards and present tasty simple food well presented and quality performers. I think they are doing a great job.Check their web site and pay them a visit.
We ate dinner twice at the Milk Factory on our recent trip to Brisbane and will definitely be going back!The atmosphere was excellent with really great bar staff. Friendly, funny, wanting to know where we were from and actually interested in having a chat with us.The food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. to have an entree and 2 mains for $50 I think is brilliant! I had a braised lamb shank and the meat literally just fell off the bone. My friend had pork shoulder with mash, of which he devoured! The flavours were amazing and the food was filling! It was the main reason why we went back the next night!
I have been in Australia for 13 days this place served me the best meal I've had since here super stoked and will be back for more super happy super awesome
