I can't wait to go back!! This was my first time going in years and I was pleasantly surprised that they are still an overall great dining experience. Our food was delicious, hospitality was great! Ask for Walter. The restaurant was busy but he was on top of everything. I didn't have to ask for a single refill because he had it on the table before I could finish. I appreciate that he was attentive to our group and anticipated our needs. Food no complaints The crab dip Delicious (and visible) lumps of crab All other entrées, seasoned and cooked just the way we ordered. Parking, bit crowded but there is an additional lot across the street. So glad this restaurant was able to persevere through the pandemic!
The atmosphere was cheerful, pleasant and staff are respectful and professional. The food is less than two star for what I ordered . The Brussels sprouts were hard, no pick me up spice with a roasted taste. The Trout with roasted pecan was laughable, the pecans came whole pecans a glaze which this dish is suppose to be crusted w pecan on top of the fish, it was way too salty, and the glaze took away from the taste of the dish. The only real winner for me was the rolls, soft, and good texture. Overall, I'm sticking to a two star.
my friend visited vegas and I came out of de, and we decided to meet us at mike’s american restaurant in springfield. it was a great choice! so easy to find and the food and service was excellent. our server kyle was the best, personable, professional and polite. After we were finished, we were hanging out at the tables and relaxing before we met the road. if I have to stop jumpfield va bin mike!
