Middleton In Teesdale Fish And Chip Shop

We were a party of adults so pre-ordered our fish, chips and peas the previous day. As the person who suggested this meal , a lot was riding on the quality of the food : we were not disappointed. Everyone raved about the quality and size of the fish , and the batter was amazing , so light and crisp. Despite a car journey back to the accommodation , the chips still tasted fresh and hadn’t gone into a soggy lump as from some shops , and even when going cold they were still tasty . Everyone voted this meal a great success . Well done to the Middleton in Teesdale shop; you deserve your national acclaim .

Having been let down due to pingathon we had fish and chips here at one of the picnic tables, on China plates with proper knives and forks. Probably the best fish and chips we have ever eaten. Don’t miss out when visiting this area.
