Mickey's Drive-in

I stopped here with my mom and nice as a throwback for my mother who ate here in her highschool days. We are originally from Chicago but now love in NWI so it is a bit of a trip to come out here. And it was worth it. The hotdogs are great and the Italian beefs are literally almost as good as portillos. The cheese sauce had flavor. And the staff was nice. I originally got their 2 hotdog special, but after trying a bite of my mom's roast beef, I asked for one to go. When I explained to the lady how I was going back to Indiana asked her if she can package it seperately she went above and beyond. I was able to eat it later that night and it was just as good as when I tried my mother's sandwich. Definitely recommend!

Today my first time was eating in mickey’s and I have to say this place has made a strong first impression on me. Once I opened the door, I was greeted with an amazing aroma of food. I was also surprised that they make the food right in front of them to make sure that it is exactly the way they want to cook it. I had a chili dog and I was impressed. for about 6$ I had a chili dog, pommes and a soda. that eating was delicious and not only that, the person at the reception gave us free ice truncions. not sure if this is a regular thing, but no other place likes it mickey’s.

I've been eating here since I was a kid. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the family that runs the place are always so friendly and welcoming (and the owner/manager guy is pretty hot lol). Best thing is that they are easy on the wallet. Love this place.

decent affordable chicago dogs. orte are always a little greasy inside, but quality eat right in front of the eyes made. service is always fast
