This little restaurant was hard to find … after coming through Monachil and continuing up the hill, you take a little one-lane dirt road that angles off on the right, up and down some short steep stretches and through a little stream until finally you pop up a steep little hill to a large parking area with the restaurant on your left. It was beautiful to eat outside under a shady umbrella and admire the view. The small plate appetizers were delicious, and the entree of rabbit I had was different than any other rabbit dish I've ever had — full of small bones, but very delicious and worth the work. After lunch and beer, I hiked a 30-minute loop over the nearby suspension bridges while the rest of the lunch party had dessert. Service was a little spotty, but delivery was fast and I loved the food and location.

Many parked their cars here before they walked the trek to the gorge. We didn't have the luck to find this restaurant so we parked and walked a long way. But it came in handy when you finished the walk cause it's the first place you can get a drink after you're done. We just wanted 2 drinks and would have lunch in Granada later. However, drinks came with big plates of chips and bread and meatball. That filled us up and no lunch was needed. Other people all ordered drinks only. Why? because the menu was not interesting? I had a quick look but there was nothing I wanted to try. Anyway, this was a great place to sit down and relax with quiet and nice view.

Most people come here to park their cars before they start to walk the trek to the gorge. We didn't find this restaurant so we parked far away and walked. When we were done with the Los Cahorros for the day, we passed by here and had a beer. We planned to have lunch in Granada but the drinks came with two big plates of chips an meatballs. They were so filling that we didn't need lunch anymore later in Granada. Looking at other tables, the majority of them just had beer. Wondered why no one ate here, I had a quick look at the menu and indeed there's nothing interest.
