"Very basic overpriced hotel. Lovely grounds but that's where it ends. Wedding on during our stay and regular guests shown no care. Basic rooms. Poor bathrooms. Food in restaurant inedible (steak sent back like shoe leather). Spa is nice too (pool and sauna, steam room) but wouldn't stay here again"

There was a fly problem in our room killed at least 6 lots of things needed fixing some were but others the maintenance man said he would be back the next day to fix but never turned up, a lot of the staff had only started the day we turned up and didn't have a clue what to do on the first night the bar was mayhem. On the next night our group had our own bar but didn't have a card machine to pay for your order and they couldn't be bothered to get one and the young girl with the massive false eyelashes was moody unhelpful and rude maybe should try a different occupation. The food was okay nothing great and sometimes some strange mix ups. Overall not a 4 star experience in my opinion, will not be staying again especially at the price they charge.

I was attending a conference. Lunch was not good and had to be sent back. Sausage casserole and lentil casserole. Inedible so we asked for sandwiches to be made up for our delegates. The sandwiches arrived quickly and were very nice. The following day lunch was back to being a very nice chilli and rice with salad. Don't know what happened with the sausage and lentil casserole as we have held numerous conferences in the hotel and food has always been lovely. The team that look after us and work there are all lovely. They all work really hard and are extremely friendly and professional.

We found our rooms very comfortable. The spa was well set up however we did experience stinging eyes from swimming pool. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I've experienced. I would commend Marta for her people skills she made us very welcome. Rooms: The rooms were of a very good size and extremely comfortable. Complementary soft drinks was a lovely surprise. Food drinks: Breakfast excellent bar food very good value. Rooms: 5
