After downloading the gluten-free app to my phone, I thought I would try a local restaurant so the next was the lounge market port 18 miles away, I took my step father with me who is not a celiac, on arrival there was parking outside for 40 minutes, so that was good as my dad fights with foot, the restaurant was nice and cozy and clean, the staff where well, the coffee was nice,
Impresses more and more. Always friendly, this place is increasingly becoming my go to. Still accepts cash. Dog and child friendly. Extensive vegan menu and always something a bit different. The beef brisket chilli is fantastic. Might have considered it expensive in the past but now everywhere else has caught up it seems pretty good value.
The service was absolutely fine but the food was pretty bad. My buttermilk chicken tasted like it had been fried at least 3 times before. My husband said his Chimichurri burger just tasted like it was covered in mint sauce.
Helpful staff and good food. A good menu choice, though my old go to is off the menu, but found a tasty, well presented meal. Good atmosphere around.
