Zack was our server and he was phenomenal! The conch fritters were absolutely delicious! I was very disappointed in the Blackened Mahi sandwich- its a very thin slice of Mahi that was over cooked, resulting in it being chewy and dry. However, the mountain of fries it came with were well seasoned and tasty. I sent the sandwich back got another of Conch fritters and side salad. GREAT cocktails. The mojito and Rum runner were perfect, not too sweet and nice kick to them. Would def be back. I wish they had a seafood combination dinner like fish and shrimp or surf n turf. The 3 for atmosphere was due to it being sooo HOT inside. We sat by the windows in the afternoon, very pretty view but it was VERY hot and stuffy. Even with the fan blowing right in front of us.
Several orders came out incorrect; the fried calamari was very rubbery, the french dips were bland and was missing the onions and cheese, and the hash browns looked like they were scraped off the bottom of the frier. On top of that the hollandaise sauce was congealed on top of the crab cakes. The **** Mary’s and the mimosas were good; pass on the poinsettias. The service was fine, but when we called the manager over to lodge our complaints about the food and the spot conditioning he was very condescending, explaining that the air conditioning was working but because of all the people there it felt warmer…the place was empty!!
Been going since they opened. Worst service ever last night 8/25/23. Took 40 minutes to get filet tips. I was told the kitchen was lined up. There might’ve been 40 ppl there and 1/2 were at the bar drinking. Still got charged full price. I then ask for cheese fries and the guy said we don’t have cheese fries. Yet, they have cheese and sell fries. Just no common sense. Probably won’t go back especially if I’m hungry.
Had a nice time yesterday watching the Jags play. After several previous bad meals, I tried the grilled wings and they were great! Not a fan of the onion in the blue cheese dressing? And Still trying to figure out why $27 wings plus one ice tea was over $38 before tax?Parking: lots
