Stumbled upon this place and what a happy accident it was. Got a banana cream pie and was extremely happy with my purchase. I've had really fancy banana cream pies and I've had the bottom of the barrel stuff. My taste lies somewhere between high fancy and Marie Callender's. And so this pie is up there as one of my favorites because I tend to like slightly junkie. Don't get me wrong, this isn't junkie at all. But it is sweet just the way I like it. On top of a flaky crust youget slices of bananas heavily covered in custard topped with stars of whipped cream. I should have bought two because the family decided to join in. The wife got a chocolate bourbon pie but she wasn't impressed with it. Too light and notenough depth. It should be more like a pecan tart I suppose, but it was covered in pecans. Could hardly taste the bourbon. Still highly recommend this place based on my experience.
Awesome pies! We arrived 30 minutes after opening and they were already sold out of a few flavors. We snagged a Northshore berry pie, key lime slice, and a strawberry rhubarb. They were all delicious! Very friendly staff
we stopped by and ordered several articles like: sugar cookies, hawaiian berry pie, and earth berry pie. they were all delicious! my girls said the sugar cookies were the best they ever had! definitely worth a visit!
OMG, if you haven't stopped in for this pie, please run there when they open otherwise you will miss out. Took me three tries this visit to finally arrive before they sold out. Yummy
