I have read some negative reviews of this restaurant that do not reflect my many positive experiences there. Right on the edge of Reedy Falls Park is this two-storey brick house with double fireplace (bottom) with charm. The indoor kitchen leads you to the second floor up some rustic wooden stairs, while a covered veranda is available for the outdoor kitchen. Outdoors there is a better option with many heavy iron tables and chairs or wooden benches shaded by green umbrellas in the middle of a flawless and picturesque flower garden (see photo). Eating here on a warm, sunny spring day is perfect. Your weekend brunch menu is my favorite. The maple pumpkin walnut French toast is my way, with the sweet potato pancakes a tight second. I'm not a fan of eggs Benedict, but my wife says they're worth an order. The fried green tomatoes are also a tasteful appetizer.

Go for the fantastic view and the incredible grits. Don’t expect too much from other brunch offerings. Meal pace is relaxed (read slower service). At least the staff was friendly when we had to request they take an omelet back for being undercooked. They aim to please. Sit outside if you go, indoors feels a bit cramped. The history and location of this restaurant is why people go. Fills up fast during peak times.

We were there for Valentine's Day and they had a VERY limited menu, but the food we ate was very good. I did not realize that they do not serve any alcohol until we got there so we ended up buying a bottle of wine next door and bringing it in, which worked out well, but I wish I had known ahead of time

This place was beautiful! The food was very good, I had the Low Country Benedict, who was delicious. The service was quite slow, but we were in no hurry, enjoying the beautiful view and landscape this place offers.
