was never here, but lieve me, never going! whole family huge peace oyster fans! we thought we finally found a restaurant near us that served fried oysters! they have it over their online menu on their website. 3 months ago (When I saw her menu) I looked peacefully utter on the menu. Since I have never been there, I decided to call and check it. When I called the woman I spoke to, asked a man in the background and I heard him say they had no peace uttering at the time, but to take my phone and they would call when they came in. Never heard of them. from today(3 months later) decided to call them again to see if they are on the menu as it is still advertised on their menu. the woman I talked to asked someone and she said they didn't. I let them know I spoke to someone three months ago and they told me the same thing. I told the woman why they apply fried oyster meal on their menu and never have them. the kerl said the menu has changed, but it didn't! It;s the same exact menu of 3 months ago! then he made an excuse that oysters are hard to come! He said I should go somewhere else to get oysters! I let him know how his restaurant can apply something on her menu that they never had and did not intend to! Thank you, I called first before I showed up and found out that they had not, and that I stuck there, what had to eat, because I had traveled a long way on the first place! I think they want that. I'm glad I never knew it! I'm glad my family will never be there. big branch! be warned! if they don't know the location call before they ever go! P.S- in reaction to the owners answer, they can say what kind of people possess this place. 3 months ago my family called several times, just to say that they would rake our phone number and call us when oysters came in when they always knew that oysters would never come. we should have said that from the beginning. oysters are not difficult to come. if we were to tell the truth, this review would not be here. I just told honest facts in my review. how can they expect us to ever visit their restaurant after the experience we had.
always delicious I try to stop here whenever I am in the cranford area. I've been a fan of this jersey Shore style seafood joint for a few decades. fresh, perfectly prepared dishes that always allow the seafood to shine. baked or bruised flounder and any kind of garnel are a personal favorite. I always arrange a restaurant at his side salad and here it is never a imitation, fresh and so delicious they should dress their house it is from the chart.
the garnel cocktail plate we ordered was so fresh and delicious. will definitely be ordered again!
