My boyfriend and I stumbled upon Marcos last Sunday night and were so pleasantly surprised. Marco himself was there, and shared with us the history of his restaurant and then made an off-the-menu dinner for us that was wonderful. We started with sautéed spinach with almonds and raisins in a garlicy broth, with warm wonderful bread. I was then treated to a mascarpone and tomato sauce linguine with shrimp while my boyfriend had mascarpone and tomato rigatoni with pepperoni, olives, and fresh-sliced prosciutto. Everything was prepared right in front of us. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the mood for some delicious food in a welcoming and warm environment.
Seriously, i cannot understand the positive comments, this place is absolute nothing special at all ! And in my opinion not worth the money....it is not even cheap, but the food is quite disappointing after reading all these positive comments. Not worth the visit, Rapperswil has much better to offer !
We were on a group tour and had only thirty minutes to eat. We found Marco's and were not disappointed. The food was excellent and you can see the pasta prepared in front of you. Marco's was able to accommodate our 30 minute time limit as well.
Fab food, great that the chef cooks in front of you. Well recommended. Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants a relaxed atmosphere.
