Better than ever. We had the shishito's to snack (which were limey and delicious), Hiramasa (like the old kampachi dish, with szechuan button), scallops with nduja and clams (unbelievably good, layered flavors, and no idea how they do that cor in the Cob which wasn't on the cob but some sort of cob-shaped mass of corn and other goodies yum), hubby had skate, and friends got the classic chicken under brick. Everything was presented beautifully but most important every single dish tasted amazing. Complex, balanced flavorings, perfectly prepared. Wait staff was friendly and helpful, attentive without hovering, and the Som was very helpful finding more offbeat selections. Forge has always been one of our go to restaurants, but it is now at the very top of our list.
