Mannino's Cannoli Express

After lunch we walked downtown to get some ice cream on a beautiful 60 degree day. The place next door was closed, but I saw they had espresso and gelato here, so it was a safe assumption that they could make affogatos. Sure enough, it was the last item on the menu. I’ve ordered it a lot at restaurants and usually it’s one scoop ice cream and 1 shot espresso with a cute little spoon. This is a giant espresso milkshake! You get 3 scoops of ice cream and about 2 long shots if I had to guess. I really liked it!For the record I’m not a cannoli fan so I cannot comment on how good they are.

I am sad for my son, who sweetly bought me a slice of red velvet cake after church, as a surprise. It was stale, to the point where the bottom of the cake was hard and the cream cheese icing was actually chewy. How long has it been sitting there? Sad. Oh, and it was a tiny alice of cake, too. Definitely won’t be back (and we are local).

The blueberry cannoli's are really good. Strawberry and peach were good too. Very nice young ladies were patient with our large order for multiple people in multiple boxes. Will definitely be back.

The BEST cannolis! Everytime I'm in NJ I drive an hour just to pick up a few. Worth it every single time. What I've heard is that they import their shells from Sicily. Really really delicious.

Purchased a slice of carrot cake. $7.50! Worst ever. Cake tasted dry and stale, icing was not very good. I feel like I should be reimbursed. I'll stick to Sweet Eats. They're to die for!
