I visited on a Saturday night to get a quick last Saturday-of-summer dinner to go with some ice from neighboring Peterson. What a clever concept to transform an old gas station in a rustic pub in a picturesque city in North Virginia. The neighborhood feels obvious with the males and the staff, and the staff radiates a friendly atmosphere and seems to enjoy working with each other and customers. I previously received the same type of service with the relatively short meal I had: Mac dog without cheese sauce and perpetrator, followed by a burger with onions and mushrooms and sweet potatoes. Food came in reasonable times, especially given the fairly busy outdoor terrace the staff also served. The hot dog came with a roasted bungalow, which a much appreciated little detail unfortunately does not get all restaurants right. The cook on the hot dog tasted great and the companion Chili went well. I found the chili a little sparse and tomatoes for my taste, but others have and will enjoy this version as a companion or a dish myself I am sure. The Tater darts have a childhood association with me, so I really enjoy when I taste hot, crispy dead like these. I asked for a burger temperature of medium rare and got what I saw so close to this temperature in view of the thickness of Patty. The freshness of the shrimp was welcome to cut the fatness of the burger, especially the crisp pimp chips and tomato slices. As a very small quibble I would like to have roasted the bread when the hot dog bungalow was. The sweet potato fries were also cooked. They arrived hot, not fried or oily at all, and as crispy how to get someone sweet potatoes. Very enjoyable from the first fry to the last fry. The total bill came just under $30 including a non-alcoholic drink and without taxes and tips. I felt like I had a satisfactory value for my stop, and I could try again other sandwiches and possibly a breakfast offer or two more reviews of these offers. The novelty of this place as well as the local neighbor nature of the staff as well as the skill around the grill and the frit together make for a truly and uniquely positive experience.
