"The steak was amazing, cooked beautiful, tender and juicey. They wouldn't change anything (roasted potatoes for chips, etc) which meant we had to buy extra sides and the sauces that accompanied the steaks were average."

I know ... we must not go to eat in Lygon street too touristy, alas taken by hunger pangs me and 3 friends decide to have dinner in this Steak house. The nice counter convinced us with some wonderful meat in plain sight, and we were truly convinced they had hit the spot, unfortunately after an endless wait our 650gr ryb eyes arrived .... despite having asked for medium cooking they were practically charred .... the thing that made me angry is that the raw material it was great. Another incorrectness was the fact that the steaks were cooked to perfection for the exposed part, while the part placed on the plate was literally charred.

Nothing like a good chevap and this place delivers an authentic taste without a doubt but I have entertained customers here before with more of a personal touch to the service levels that we experienced. In the past to add to the experience we were given small tasters to promote the restaurant and even ordered some of these dishes as they were very nice. Has it become more commercialised these days I don't know but it surely missed that added punch with personalised service I've received in the past. In addition it is rather pricey but understanding Serbian food it the taste didn't disappoint.

My friend and I were walking down Lygon St looking for a place to have lunch, the lady with a huge smile made up go into this place as she looks very friendly and inviting and of course the place looks great, private and not too busy at the time. The services was exceptional and the food was good. We enjoy our mouth watering share half fresh and half Kilpatrick oysters entree. we had chilli crab my friend love and my risotto was great.

Either outside on street or inside the service is attentive and friendly good basic wine selection . try the home made bread and butter. last and best is the steak, lamb or seafood preparation which is always served to perfection. Always a good experience.
