I had the opportunity to lunch, at the restaurant with a regular customer, she and I were greeted, at the door as if we were family. Having been here several times before I was delighted to see the new decoration of the entrance and dining rooms, it really takes a great restaurant up another notch, in my estimation. The meal, service and ambience were of the highest calibre, yet again. The fresh produce, from the restaurant's own gardens, were combined to achieve magnificent flavours, that were a treat. The two wait staff were attentive and very obliging, adding to the overall pleasant afternoon. Again my friends merci beucoup!
Situated in a rather nondiscript village lies this restaurant which in terms of decor is quite traditional. The food however is very much worth the trip to Etouy. Every dish was a real success we felt. On each plate there is something to really discover, in fact on every plate you're likely to discover three or four new things/tastes. Saint jacques poached in olive oil; with vanilla. They grow their own garden vegetables; recommended, absolutely worth every Euro ...their Michelin star is well deserved.
From the moment we arrived we felt at home and important. The service was wonderful but not intrusive. The food was magnificent and beautiful. Everything about this meal including the setting made our entire trip better and more memorable. This is a location and restaurant out of a movie and the surrounding forest is just right for a long post meal walk.
Amazing restaurant, wonderful ambiance, friendly , helpful professional staff and the most delicious food in a beautiful setting. We ate in the magical garden. I could not recommend highly enough, the most wonderful experience from start to finish
