"Very good chips, really good beer, and decor that made me think of Nathan Barley. I think it's worth a visit just to enjoy the decoration, but don't go if you want to visit a traditional English pub. The burgers have a good reputation, but I don't know if that's deserved or not because I didn't have one. Let's assume it is."

I ate here on a Friday just recently with friend who works close to it, it is her native. seemingly a virtual restaurant of day and bar after night last eating at 8 o'clock is eating very burger centric with home made monster burger with multi-toppings her speciality. friend had 'veggie on the med' and I had 'the full napoleon'. hers was a really good and beautiful textured veggie burger topped w/ roast pepper, haloumi, mozarella and houmus. my was a mahoosive bark burger house made and carved with braut, sling, speck and garlic mayo. my burger was super best I had eaten, good, forever. chips were cut by hand and there was a minisalat somewhere. the guy closest table had a 'scooby burger' in the grunde, a double-sized affair, about 10 '' high I don't know if he lived to tell the story, it was huge. the nelson personals were seriously rushed and the place was heaving, but the atmosphere was great, personal friendly and funny (they did a strange dance routine of the bar at a point uncanny. music ridiculous and the decoration crazy. worth visiting this is not a byron burger, that is a real one and that is better for him.

my uni was right next to this quirky pub so I often visited the joint. the personal is amazing, super fun. Quiz Nights, can not be beaten (I still have my nicki graham autobiography that I asked to have even though I lost.) the decor is kooky, think action figures with the covers and cartoons glued to the walls. a large selection of drinks, great prices (and offers during the week) and of course eating. quite epic. they were proud to serve a dam a burger, but unfortunately the ship is blessed. honestly, the best pub in the opposite, super busy at the end of the day, but that from a reason. can not recommend, high enough

from the quirky decoration (in a red and blue thema with imagination signs and other funny touches and cuddly toys hanging above the bar) to the delicious burger is a place to go lunch or dinner. the juicy lucy and the full nelson are the ones they need to try, but I bet they want to go on after that to try them all. burger fans, they were warned. that will be your new one!

You can really have fantastic burgers in this bar! They are so hearty but also so delicious. The meat has very high quality and they often have a selection of beef, lamb, venison and some others. Try the Farage lol! No in all seriousness, their onion rings were really great and the burger with scampis and blue cheese was awesome.
