"On the second day in Dresden, we had decided to get out of the bus with the three Elbschlössern and look at Dresden and the surroundings from above. We had learned that the Lingner terraces are open to the public and there is also a restoration. After a short walk from the stop we first arrived at the outdoor tables of the restaurant area. Behind it the beer garden joined, where we found a free table directly on the armor. In the beer garden, self-service is recommended. The ladies at the food edition and at the checkout were very friendly and accommodating. Eat We chose a fryer with potato salad that we wanted to share. This offer is not included in the online menu. We ordered a water and a non-alcoholic yeast beer, paid at the checkout and went to the table with the tray. Both meatball and potato salad seemed to be homemade, they tasted very good. Ambience Pleasant, stable garden furniture stands on the terrace under square umbrellas, you have a magnificent view over Dresden and the Elbtal. On the opposite shore runs the Elberadweg, the cyclists came to us like ants on an ant road. And there was plenty of it.... Cleanliness dishes, glasses and cutlery were clean, just like the furniture. Crumbs or paper hats on the ground cannot be avoided on an open terrace."
