We sat for a late lunch - two families with kids, 12 all together, after a full day in the Talschlussweg park. The service was excellent and the food - traditional Austrian - was very good. The desserts were notable: the best Kaiserschmarrn we had so far and a very good home-made apfelstrudel.
I've been visiting Saalbach area for many years and I have visited the Lindlingalm on each visit. I have always had good service and found the staff friendly and helpful. The food is nice and reasonably price. This is a good place to visit when at the end of the valley.
The angry waiter at this restaurant, had arguments with many customers including us. Brought the wrong dish and argues that it is not his fault by saying it is not my problem. Get your snack along instead of letting somebody ruins your day.
A nice place to stop for tea before going for the 'walk through the treetops' serving traditional Austrian food, however the waiter was a bit terse and grumpy- perhaps he was having a bad day?
