We've been eating at Limnos for years. A few years ago a change of ownership took place. Today's lunch has finally made it clear to us that the new owner has not only increased prices (which is understandable in the current wage increases), but that quality has also deteriorated. As an example, I introduce the Gyros: This was excellent with the former owner. There were no large portions, but for this they were very good, i.e. differently seasoned than in standard Greeks and thinly cut with a rather lower fat content. At present, only the quantity of gyroscope had increased, but the worting was like standard Greeks, it was cut significantly thicker and the fat content had increased. For me, the portion of Gyros with a Zaziki as an appetizer was too lavish. The service immediately offered a packing of the remains, which we accepted gratefully. In my opinion, the quality, especially the gyro, has been neglected. The salads for eating had a not so tasty dressing. The Zaziki was still good despite everything. Only with the white bread today could not satisfy the Limnos. It was about 2 cm flat and in the middle the dough was clumpy, so it did not rise properly. The service was good and therefore not to be challenged. I believe that this formerly excellent Greek has slipped into popularity.
