the service here was beautiful. really friendly and polite. the waiters were so nice. the food was just under the average. the meat in the rogan josh was really fat, but it was slowly cooked enough that it was soft. the whole thing was simple...ok, it stopped us to have starved, but it wasn't particularly delicious. it was like eating a ready to be honest. the only really tasty ding was that naanbrot, everything else was just a bit meh. The Tarka valley was terrible, just like a water soup. the only wein they had was a bottle of morrisons own brand chenin blanc. Of course, when they eat, they do not pay brewery price, but per glass for a clearly labeled £ 3 bottle morrisons wein will not add exactly to the culinary experience. in fairness, it was better than the takeaway that we got a few months ago from bengal spice in which they had to play, hunting the chewing gums, fat piece meat in their curry- but it was still not amazing or unforgettable. We don't hate it, but it was just a little under the Indian. I wouldn't sneak back, do it like that. I can't understand all Raving reviews on here, I really can't.
