I escaped london to live a year during the lock-off in whitstable and to treat myself regularly with a coat potato at gilberts as a lunch break. gary and tara always greeted me with a smile and are so friendly and warm for all. They can say they are a great part of the local community. and as for the kartoffel I say this with all honesty best kartojacket at all. the handmade koleslaw is 10/10. they also make a large selection of veggie and vegan food, and many beautiful deli bits. they will not be disappointed if they dive into the lunch or breakfast!
