Quite simply we have been skiing now in France for twelve or so years and this is the best meal we have had. There were eight of us and the owner was magnificent. We were not rushed and the food was fantastic. Something for everyone...on the menu. Two families, four adults, four children all enjoyed what was put in front of them. We will be returning and recommending to all of our friends.

ten years return to l’escale and we had always served an excellent eating served by the ever powerful and welcoming daniel. a personal favorite is the pizza syrakus simply the best. for a special occasion we have the raclette and meat hot plate .both delicious. I would recommend this restaurant more, but there are limited seating and so do not want to miss out on the next visit!

we tried the fondue savoyarde, which was very tasty and good (swiss-based recipe.) our children had different child scarves. very good! the location is the best they jump from their skis and come. toilets are big and clean (extremely rare.) decorum is down. what they can expect, even there.

we ate here a few times. the greeting is always warm, the beers are cold and the daily specialties are great. it was also a snowball throw from our apartment (and the lift so it is very popular, recommended.
