I wish I could be reviewing this based on the food, but if their food is anything like the greeting we received, the food must be inedible. I’d also like to say that I’m an owner of a Michelin restaurant in NYC We were walking by and saw the restaurant with empty tables outside. We entered not through the main entrance but through a side door across a little bridge. The door was open and there was no sign saying not to enter, so we did. We approached an empty table and proceeded to wipe down the wet seats, as the staff had not done their job and wiped them off, with one of the napkins on the table. After a few minutes a young man came out, told us that we should not have used the napkin. He then went inside, as if to check on the table, but he actually went to complain about about our entrance and that we had used a napkin to wipe of the chair. They offered to sit us inside at a table right at the entrance. The least attractive table when most inside AND outside were empty. When I inquired why we could not sit outside, we were told it was because we were rude by coming through the side door, which as I said, was open, and had committed the cardinal sin of doing the useless waiter’s job, of wiping down the wet chair. Naturally the haughtiness with which they addressed us caused me to reply in kind Given how many reviews here speak to the horror of the service, I don’t expect anything to change. Especially since the restaurant keeps posting bs reviews to keep up its rating at a completely undeserved 4 I strongly recommend avoiding
