Les Servages - Table reservation

Lovely place in a nice town. Easy access. This restaurant is definitely above average in the region, but could be better with a bit more effort. The wine list is excellent with a broad range and some good bargains if you know what to look for. A starter of vitello tonato was very good with a very fresh twist, but another a mesclun salad was less than ordinary. Personally I think that a relatively expensive restaurant should make an effort on even the simplest dishes. The mains of grilled tuna and grilled pork had high quality ingredients but kind of lacked the extra effort that would have made them great. All in all, recommended but not that memorable.

Beautiful room and great views. Bavette was disappointing- a bit tough and hard to cut without a steak knife which was not offered. Male waiter quite unfriendly. Eaten here before and very impressed but not this time. I expect more for the price.

Excellent service in a warm and refined environment. Delicious food light starters and heartiest nets with sophisticated products. An excellent wine card and wine served at the perfect temperature.
