This hotel restaurant was recently sold and the new owner has made changes. It is a wonderful spot: on the little village square with a huge, uninterrupted view of the Mediterranean. We have all being going there for years, during which time it was run...by the delightful Willem (now sadly left) who produced straightforward good food at reasonable prices with a smile. Now the food, quite acceptable, has become sophisticated/fussy and the prices have trebled. Service is very slow indeed. The new maitre d'hotel is short on charisma, though he is trying hard, and the rest of the staff are virtually incomprehensible and seem not to understand French, English or Italian. These may be teething problems but they were not encouraging. We wish them luck and in the meantime they would do well to ditch the elevator music!

This is one of the better restaurants in town with large indoor and outdoor dining. There is a reasonably large menu and everything is well-prepared and creative. Really personable and warm staff. I always go here when in town and was here twice this month....I can always rely on a good time, whether I’m here as a couple or with a large group of friends. Very nice wine list.

We spent a relaxing week here, and loved the view, the village and the hotel. It was comfortable, the members of staff were friendly and the food delicious. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea, charming though steep mediaeval streets, close to Menton.... I highly...recommend it. Roquebrune’s other restaurants were also excellent.

Perfect setting for a restaurant, fantastic sea views on a quaint french village square with plenty going on. Friendly attentive waiting staff served extremely well cooked fresh fish. I don't usually do deserts but I'm glad I did this time, delicious. Definitely worth a visit...and not too expensive considering the location.
