located a few steps from our hotel, the hostellerie gargantua, which is also worth a visit, this charming restaurant with classic and elegant decoration has charmed us. A table on the floor was waiting for us (it's better to book, the restaurant was complete)Even soothing, goat snails are extraordinary, the chef revisits snails with elegance with several sweet salty shades that will caress your taste buds, note by the presence of a surprising and very light goat sorbet. The dishes of calves are very good, without a big surprise but very successful. a cheese tray follows, which became rare but so appreciated! Finally as dessert, chocolate mousse, simple but very effective with bitter chocolate preventing it from being too drunk at the end of this rich meal. We've got a nice cellar or a 2005 chinon. it is indeed difficult to find wines at maturity at reasonable prices at the restaurant. 40 euros this bottle is proven to be a wise expense.
