I don't know whether this place has had a change of ownership, or whether we just caught them on a bad night, but our latest meal last Saturday was ruined by terrible service. They were trying to manage a Saturday night service with one experienced waitress and a couple of schoolgirl helpers. The food this time wasn't much better than average. There was a five minute gap between one main course arriving and the other. My second glass of (very nice Lebanese) wine was eventually delivered just about in time for dessert.

Visited L'Epicurien on our last night in Nimes. What a find. Beautiful courtyard setting, with dining indoors if you prefer. We were impressed by the friendliness of the waiter who helped us with the menu as neither of us had eaten Moroccan cuisine before. The food was delicious, hot and plentiful. The service was and excellent. It was a highlight of our trip and would recommend anyone to pay them a visit. The Lamb shank was wonderful, as was the chocolate mousse. All in all, a delightful meal in relaxed setting.

We were very lucky to get a table without a booking (it was packed), though we had to wait for a little while. Once seated, the service was good and efficient. The food was amazing and well worth the wait. The courtyard is a lovely setting for a romantic evening. Highly recommend the kemia as a starter, to die for and the mint tea at the end of the meal to digest this lovely food (main portions are very generous).

there are lots of morrocan restarants this one is specail in courtyard with olives and oleanders draped with gauze it creates the feeling youve entered a mirage, the food has the usal array of tijanes but the cous cous is special what is their secret, and dont miss their pastries and mint tea service also excellent and attentive and its not expensive dont miss.
