L'epicerie Gourmande

we came without reservation on the occasion of a night evening at the castle.No problem to be installed in the room. Serveress more or less friendly but probably a little overwhelmed that took 10 minutes to serve us a bottle of water while we are in a canicle...We take, a beer, a cider, a plate of charcuterie (the boudin is good, the rest has nothing special). I take a gourmet salad, my companion the dish of the day, smoked salmon with salad and apple in the oven. As it is hot, it does not wish to have the apple in the oven.Rrive a "poor plate" with some salad leaves and a slice of smoked salmon on it. disappointment... our plates are so little loaded that we don't take dessert.Arrivate at the checkout, we pay full pot, sot 39€... including 9€ for a little salad and the slice of salmon. When I notice the waitress, his answer "is your choice not ours" hum. the empty stomach (or almost) goes out and with the feeling of spoiling money.

We went there after we visited the castle. It is less than 5 minutes walk from there and located in a nice neighborhood with restaurants. We had a plate of two types of cheese, a salad and a potato and a sandwich plate with ham and cheese inside. They were both tasty. I expected that the cheeses were cooked in a certain way, so it was a bit disappointing to have cheeses like those you can get at the supermarket. the taste itself was fresh.

local products, in a small trade. the merchant is welcoming, and the prices are correct in relation to the products offered. I recommend it for gourmet purposes.

Very helpful staff. We picked up a delicious terrine and got some good tips for exploring wines in the region.

family atmosphere and relaxed. interesting for a lunch break outside the classic restaurants on the roadside.
