I visit this restaurant frequently and have introduced many friends, all like me think it excellent value and the food consistently good. It is simple honest well cooked plain food. The entree consists of a very comprehensive cold buffet, followed by a choice of half a dozen daily plats followed by a good but simple selection of deserts, all for 13 euros including wine. There is always a charcoal grill producing delicious lamb chops, steak or veal and quite a few other a la carte dishes. The Very pleasant and caring staff make eating the eating experience a good one. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
The French love this place, it is always busy, which is always a good sign. Very good buffet starters. Lots of fish and meat alternatives. Very French. Main course is usually duck, steak, fish or omelette with some different daily specials. Main courses not bad. Desserts is again all you can eat buffet style or you can opt for ice-cream with lots of flavour choices. Not for people who want traditional British food. Good value for money and wine is thrown in if you want it.
This is a small restaurant opposite the Rev'Hotel in Riberac there is a cold self service buffet for your premier plat (starter) and an excellent choice of main dishes followed by another self service buffet for dessert. Some main courses will be cooked on a charcoal grill within the restaurant itself. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal others must do the same as it was quite busy for a mid week table if you are in the area do give it a try you will not be disappointed.
Really struggled to find anywhere open for dinner in January, all a bit depressing until we came across this welcoming, buzzy place. Great menu, buffet salad bar, steaks cooked over wood, and a wonderful manager/waitress who appears to single-handedly deliver all food, take orders and keep an eye on the entire floor all at the same time. €32 euros for two including a half pitcher of red wine. Such a buzz in otherwise closed Riberac.
