We had a lovely dinner in this restaurant which was close to our hotel. The service was welcoming and friendly and we had a full three courses with wine. As it was our son and daughter's first time in Paris, they were keen to try escargot and frogs' legs which were both on the menu (perhaps for tourists as I'm not sure if local people would usually choose these dishes!) Anyway, they were very nice and were followed by steaks in pepper sauce, Normandy chicken and an American salad, all of which were enjoyed. The creme brûlée dessert was also very good. Overall, the food was presented simply but with good ingredients and the atmosphere was casual and relaxing. A very good experience.

With so many choices in Paris ranging from average to great there is no reason to eat here. Nice looking menu on a great corner. But service gives the French a bad name by being curt and serving well below average food. No pride in service or culinary arts. Had to ask for everything from water to the check. When I asked about the experience I was told to go elsewhere next time. On our last few days of a month in Europe with a list of places to say wonderful things about but this place got priority status! Keep walking.

Not a terribly welcoming host who seemed to want rush us into ordering. Once we had a chance to view the luncheon menu we had eventually placed our orders (under 5mins). My order wasn't too fancy (or so I thought) just wanted an omelette with cheese/fromage and it arrived without cheese, but nothing wrong with a plain omelette, to be fair. The hubby's omelette was as ordered. Great old photos as decor. I'm afraid the attitude was what put me off.

The service was slow, slow even by Paris standards. Waiter was helpful in describing the dishes, as neither of us were fluent in the others language. I had the farmers chicken in a mushroom sauce with frites, it was very good. My wife enjoyed er\\her salad.
