this is a real pub (with a real story.) eddie izzard and jack dee stood up here again on the day....but what is important is the place and the staff are friendly and helpful, and the natives are nice (except me, obviously! . I used to live next door, but 10 years ago it pulled a mile or so away that it is still recommended to be my native.
had our christmas last night and the staff helped it to a great success. the food was excellent and I can recommend the leather bottle to one and all.
Really enjoyed it....great atmosphere with fantastic outdoor seating area!!! And very family friendly place for all the enjoy!!!!!
