If you want a warm welcome with excellent food this is the place to come. Kate and Andy can cater for all tastes and even invite the fish and chip van with real English fish and chips to visit about once a month on a Friday night. French and English spend happy nights at this bar watching popular matches on Sky ot having a sing song along to the karaoke or putting the world to rights over a glass or two. A great place to meet old friends or make new ones. Book in advance and get Andy to make you his superb roast lamb for sunday lunch. Cooked slow overnight it is truly memorable. Can't wait until my next trip!
We were made to feel so welcome in this quaint bar situated in this very pretty village, nothing was too much trouble for the owners Andy and Kate. We initially just came across it when we were driving through but found we kept going back for a few jars and pub lunch. My husband was 'hooked' on Andy's kebab and chips and turned down Andys curry and delicious cottage pie to order this each time. We can really recommend this bar whether you are French or English (Kate speaks excellent French) We honestly can't wait to get back to hear some of Andy's comical stories that he tells.
Last night we had fish and chips here. Great atmoshphere, lots of friendly French and Englsh customers. Superb fish and chips. Lovely setting. Fromental has won an award for the flowers in the village. Very pretty.Today we had lunch. Lovely lasagne, garlic bread and salad. Super meal. Can highly recommend this place. Can't wait for my next visit. Made so welcome.
Dommage car seul restaurant de ce tout petit village très charmant. Malheureusement il n y a plus beaucoup d'habitants donc pas de fréquentation. Et si on ne connait pas l endroit... Lors de notre dernière séjour cet été nous étions triste d apprendre que l établissement était fermé et en vente:(
