The new owners have made this popular Argentat Bar / Brasserie there own with a new menu and decor. We eat here several times a year both peak and off season and always have excellent service and food.They offer a good range and of modern and classic brasserie fare with personal favourite being the salad campagnade - either as a main or generous starter on the €16 menu. Although not personally a big fan of "burgers " I must admit that the "Tiv " does also produce very fine examples and at €6- 8 a go they are good value !Weekday lunchtimes they also offer a great value set lunch.
Nice to eat in the backyard under the trees and a Burger and Pommes Frites to die for. Nice in the evening, kind of a hotspot for young people and sport fans.
A quiet and pleasant setting. Perfect service and meals. Excellent price compared to the quantity in the plate. If I go back to Argentat, I'll be right back.
Ok for lunch on the patio, basic French cuisine, have gone quite a few times on market day. Fills up pretty quick at lunch
