Wandering about looking for a light meal for lunch we came across Le Saf Saf. The chicken cous cous was exactly what we wanted, sharing a single portion between two people and finishing with peppermint tea. Beautifully spicy and light in flavour, it was just right after weeks of heavy French lunches or the never ending baguettes. The owner and his wife (I assume they are a couple) were extra friendly and helpful as they coped with my pathetic French. And the meal was so reasonably priced, I wish we could go back there again.
I don't think there is better couscous, tagine, desserts in LANGON. Hurry if you want to find out, the bosses are retiring in March. What a pity, it's so good, they are nice and the food is very generous. Go there from me, you will not be disappointed…..
The saf saf couscous was excellent and we were brought back semolina and vegetables. We also appreciated the stove that keeps the vegetable broth warm. The boss and his son were very considerate, attentive to the customer and very polite. I recommend
