We stopped here while waiting for the Lock Master to open the bridge for us to pass under. It's very unpretentious from the outside and there are plenty of locals inside enjoying the vibe and the cuisine. We opted for the Meal of the Day which gave us several choices of entree, main and desert. The price was fixed at 13.9EU per person. We tried the terrine, toasted cheese, asparagus with smoked salmon. Mains were a mixed grill, half coquelet, lasagne and pepper steak. All were tasty and well presented. Deserts were a choice of Creme Caramel, Chocolate Mousse or a Cheese plate.The House Red was very nice! A great stopping place for lunch.Total price for four was 60.40 Eur.

Nothing is worse than 10 hours on the Autoroute so I always try to find a little place off the beaten track within 5-10 km of an exit. This place is a GEM!!! Full of local fishermen and right on the canal and lakes, the food was hearty, very well cooked and with a lot of choice. Also incredibly good value. I will stop off again.Dog freindly as well
