Lovely food at the restaurant du Port!We went for the 26 Euro menu, which we really enjoyed. The crab millefeuille wasn't a pastry confection, but layered beetroot and celeriac under crab, then topped with grated apple. So tasty! We were glad we'd ordered local cider to accompany the robust flavours of our meal. For mains, we had a home made confit de canard, and a superb entrecote steak, as an antidote to all the local fresh fish we'd recently eaten. Both meats were excellent, served with thin frites, tiny wild mushrooms (girolles?) and salad leaves.Desserts were also home made - a crème brulee and a tiramisu with fresh raspberries. The patronne and her assistant were helpful and professional, and we appreciated the table settings with linen and fresh flowers. In all, perfection! If I could find any fault, it's that I don't think the menus change, so the set menus could possibly become repetitive over several visits - if you're that lucky to make more than one visit!

Stopped here not knowing anywhere to eat, the Restaurant du Port caught our eye. We ate outside in the sun. My wife had the Moules, and I had the Poisson du Marche. It was probably the best fish dish I have ever eaten, and my wife said the Moules were superb. The service was excellent but it was a very quiet day and we were the only persons eating outside when we sat down. A truly excellent meal, even down to the sunhat leant to my wife as the sun was very strong

We dined at the Restaurant du Port one evening in July and it was very good: great wine choice, great oysters and a lovely dinner alltogether. The host is incredibly nice and manages her restaurant and also her bed and breakfast, the Domaine de Janville (which is nearby) with the same pleasant and colorful style.

A nice small restaurent with a good atmosphere. My husband had mussels and I had the fish soup to start and then the fish for mains and it was all delicious. Veronique and her girls are attentive and efficient. It would be lovely to go there in the summer and watch the river traffic going past.
