Our amazing dinner started with a warm goat cheese salad on a bed of arugula with chopped tomato, pumpkin and radish. It may have been the best salad I’ve ever had. Dinner followed with a delicious duck breast with red cabbage and a dumpling. The...other person’s entree was black ink pasta with a seafood medley. Both entrees were extraordinary. The dessert we chose was a light chocolate cake with a warm rich chocolate sauce with vanilla ice cream. What a wonderful meal from the beginning to end. The staff were very helpful as we speak no German. They were warm and welcoming to all guests. If we lived closer than Chicago, we would certainly return

Well, the experience in Le Popular Bar Cafe Restaurant was unique! It was Saturday evening, we were starving and we found this amazing place by pure coincidence! Staff was extremely friendly and when it comes to quality, this restaurant offers a once in a lifetime...tasteful journey! I couldn't recommend it more!! Definitely come back..

European food with more choices than the normal German food restaurant. The menu had a lot of options but the food was slow in coming and did not taste quite as good as we expected

Two blocks from my house, I can always get a table, and it is consistently delicious! Friendly owners and wait staff, excellent house wines, amazing..
