There was much hype in the family when we decided to book a table there due to the excellent reputation of the place. Although the restaurant was not full we were kept waiting before being shown to our table, the waitressing was minimal although smiley...but she barely made sentences asking for drinks, service was slow. The food unremarkable except for the lobster which was dismal: allegedly fresh the shell was half empty and had a very strong unpleasant taste. We kindly remarked it to the waitress who did not seem fazed by it and simply proposed to get us an other which we refused. It may have been a bad day like we all have after all.

On our last day in Arcachon (Saturday) we had time to kill before returning to Bordeaux airport. This restaurant was recommended to us by our Air b’n’b host so we decided to finish our trip with a nice lunch. I opted for the four course...set menu at euros while my wife chose the course vegetarian option at euros. The food was all beautifully cooked and presented, and while the courses were all small, we felt we had eaten sufficiently. If we return to the area, we will definitely go here again. If you go, look out for it. It’s just on the outskirts of the town.

We visit the restaurante in and were looking forward to our revisit we had high hopes and great expectations It started off well great starters with oyster cold and warm, foie Gras But the main course maigre de canard was such a dissapointment! Served...with warm apricot and pistasch nuts a really bad combination. The buef was a better choice as well as the vegetarian meny, expensive and over complicated

We had the weekday lunch menu at approx euros for courses. Everything was cooked to perfection, using only fresh products. My esturgeon was full of flavour and beautifully presented. We finished with the famous souffle, fantastic. Our waiter was friendly and efficient, but...not overbearing.
