The restaurant is upstairs from the cafe. On a Friday at 1pm it was absolutely packed with locals who clearly eat there very regularly: seemed like the creme of the town's artisans. There was a simple lunch menu. We had pork and chips which hit the spot perfectly. Great people watching. Definitely a good option but don't get there much beyond 1pm or they'll be sold out. Remarkably cheap.
This is a no frills bar come restaurant serving up some real local fare together with decent hamburgers and the usual steaks etc. I've eaten here a few times and never been disappointed. Reasonably priced and generous portions. Evenings and weekends during the summer need booking in advance.
To be recommended! warm welcome, efficient service, simple but tasty cuisine, good homemade desserts. Enjoy by groups like the day of our passage.
We had a good meal here, Typical French menu. Service was good, attentive, and friendly and it was inexpensive.
