Le Pain Quotidien is a successful chain of Belgian cafes that knows the right mix of Casual to present fine quality baked goods, entrees and food in general. This is a small LPQ than most of the others, so it may feel a bit cramped, but in this area of Maryland there are slim pickings for vegans. So it's comforting to drive to the LPQ here in the FHeights area. All menu items that are vegan are clearly marked with a carrot their daily soup is always vegan! Their breads are almost all vegan! But always check! I also like that they have desserts, and that they try to make new baked goods that are vegan (Matcha / green tea muffin). They also have other desserts/sweet, such as puddings and fruits. The ducks and generally the food can have steep prices. But I feel it's worth it, and I hope you'll be too! The people here are really helpful and nice, as well as patients need to look at some of the clientele in this part of the MD! I'd go back at any time if I'm hungry and in the parking lot can be annoying, but Metro's right there! The price is high, but it is worth knowing that it is vegan. The portions may vary, but I felt the salad was huge, along with the bread, so I could not finish it even though it was delicious! The other bottom is sometimes when you go, they may not have the items that are vegan (i.e. the baked goods) because they were sold out. They are all good!!!

There are some vegan options, but limited. The Quinoa cakes are delicious, but not very fillable. I recommend getting a page like soup. The gazpacho soup is satisfactory and surprisingly filled. Unfortunately there are no vegan desserts, and there is only a vegan blueberry muffin from their pastries.

They have the best dragon fruit bowl and friendly staff. Fresh bread and good coffee too!
