We went to this place after the reviews here and finally have found a city with a decent square and wining and dining establishments. The tables were all taken but they set some additional tables so we could sit. The food is good, nothing to fancy and a general menu but excellent if you are looking for an easy meal, good price and awesome location. Plus the waiter spoke English : always a plus when visiting France.
The restaurant is one of those that has always been in Charleville-Mézières. Its greatest value is that it is in Ducale Square. The service varies greatly in quality, and so does the food. It is an expensive place in relation to the mediocre quality of what you eat.
Had a drink on the terrace not the desired drink but very kindly replaced rather cool atmosphere for a drink especially with the world puppet festival
Incredible quality value, an Ardennes steak, fries to die for, homemade mayonnaise, homemade dessert with farm eggs, a treat
