Firstly, diner beware. If you are from the states, especially from California, you will probably have a difficult time eating on the terrasse. This is because here, as everywhere in Switzerland and France, one may smoke out of doors, though not inside the restaurant. When I looked around during my dinner, there was someone smoking at virtually every table around me. We had a hard time with this, since we are not used to this smoke. I do like the way one can order good wine by the glass or by 5, as in 5 dl. Or 2 or 3. Some good local wines are available this way, especially the fendant. Two of us were pleased with our main courses, poulet (chicken) with a lemon sauce and fera (a local fish) almondine.the house fries were also quite good, but the rice, another choice, is plain, steamed white rice. Our friend ordered filet de perch, which was a great, local lake fish until they cleaned out Lake Geneva. Now, there are practically none left in the lake. Nevertheless, filet de perch is still featured on the menu. It turned out to be absolutely tasteless. Tried to send it back to the kitchen and exchange it for something else. Instead, they brought out another plate of filet de perch, this time covered with a lemon sauce. When questioned about the source of this tasteless fish, the waiter acknowledged it was not local but from Estonia and frozen. An okay selection of desserts, mostly ice cream or ice cream based, as well as tiramisu and cassata. Compared with other restaurants we have enjoyed in Geneva and environs, this is, as they say, nothing to write home about.

We were staying less than 5 minutes ' walk from this restaurant, which is located on Place Favre. There is a large terrace area at the front and a large cosy room at the rear. Most of the customers seemed to be local. We chose to sit inside as it was a cool evening. The decor is very traditional and informal. The menu caters for all tastes and pockets. We chose to eat the filets de perches with frites, with a salad starter. The green salad was just that, but served with tasty bread and a delicious dressing. The filets de perches portion size was just right and the frites well cooked. The tartare sauce was, as they say, to die for . We chose a carafe of rose wine, which was delicious. We ladies chose to pass on dessert, but my partner opted for tiramisu. It was a huge portion served in a glass dish and soon disappeared! Overall, we had a lovely evening, catching up with friends. The atmosphere was just right, and although the TV was showing football, it did not intrude at all. We haven 't quite got to grips with 2dl, 3dl, 5dl, etc. and the waiter was extremely helpful in advising us on the appropriate quantity for 3 people. He certainly didn 't try to make us order more than we needed. We will definitely return next time we are in Geneva.

What a delicious treat...everything here is wonderful. Start your evening with one of the local wines a Geneve Gamay Rose is quite delicious- their pesto is some of the best pesto I have ever had. You can have a fondue cheese or if you get the chinoise or bourgionne you pay per person and they will continue to bring your trays of meat until you say stop it is priced per person and comes with french fries and a salad quite delicious-we loved this place so much we ate their twice in our 9 day adventure.

A blue collar, large, brasserie style, restaurant with a large terrace. Was there for lunch, simple dishes, large portions, honest quality... don't expect more but the place is not bad. Service quite efficient, prices average, no problem.
