We stopped off at this restaurant for a leisurely lunch on a Saturday in September on our way to catch the ferry at Saint Malo at the end of a great holiday. Having been warmly greeted, we were presented with a exciting and varied menu whose dishes were meticulously explained by the charming hostess. Service was relaxed. The lunch was very well presented with great attention to detail. The flavours were interesting. It was a delicious meal in every aspect This was a really enjoyable experience and a great way to end a holiday. We hope to dine there again.
Nice restaurant located basically in the middle of nowhere. The service was second to none, the waitress and co-owner even giving us tips for the next day of the holiday. But it really comes down to food and the food is great. Gorgeous looking meals which taste great. The duck was tough but looked perfectly cooked so probably not their fault, desserts outstanding. You will not be disappointed.
When in the surroundings of Rennes: visit Le Genty Home! Chantal and Sebastien combine excellent service (with a BIG smile!) with a truly delicious and high quality menu! We visited their lovely place twice during our holiday and next time when we are in Bretagne this will be our first stop! Not often that you find a restaurant where both children and their parents feel right at (Genty) home!
This restaurant is in a really atmospheric, old building with some stone walls. The Dutch manageress is charming and is happy to make recommendations. The food is freshly prepared to order and uses local produce in a very imaginative way. I had guinea fowl with an interesting stuffing. Others had fish and beef which were also excellent.Good wines too.
