Le Detroit - Table reservation

We have been staying in Calais for a few days and wanted lunch out. Have walked passed this restaurant many times and decided to try it. What a find. The food was beautifully cooked and presented. Can't believe how they do it for the price. My husband and I picked the €18 menu. I had modules mariners, rabbit and prunes, chocolate mousse. We were given a very tasty amuse Bouche to start. My husband had cooked crab (€3 supp), pan fried sea bass, creme caramel. Accompanied by a bottle of Petit Chablis for €24. Can't fault anything and would definitely recommend this restaurant

Chose this restaurant after looking at many others.A good menu, not too big and with an emphasis on seafood, but meat etc also available. We both chose the €31 menu and had scallops, oysters and turbot. Very good indeed, perfectly cooked; all washed down with a reasonably priced (€32) St Veran.Service was fine but nothing special.Total bill €100Well recommended.

Ayant passé un weekend end en côte d'opale, nous avons cherché un Resto de fruits de mer....vu que tout est fermé le dimanche du côté de Calais, nous avons été au Détroit...nous avons pris un menu essentiellement composé de poissons. S'étant fait plaisir au niveau des apéros et du vin, nous avons êtes agréablement surpris de l'addition... A recommander

facile d'acces se trouve sur le quai pas loin du ferryrestaurant propre et clairdeux serveurs souriant agréableassiette copieuseavec l'apéritif une mise en boucheun choix correct sur la carte et des menus pas trop chers restaurant pour toutes les bourses

Restaurant régulièrement fréquenté. Repas variés et très bon. Patrons adorables. Décoration très belle et chic ! Bref je vous le recommande !! ❤
