We went there at the end of July because of the view and the menu met our requirements. We had eaten here before a few years ago. It did not start well being showed to an inside table when others were available. We were given a table looking over the marina which was what we wanted. We ordered a started salad which was very large and then mussels and frys. The mussels were gritty and were not pleasant. The service was very poor and the food not much better. Avoid unless you cannot find anywhere else to eat!!
Despite its ideal position on the Port at Royan, this restaurant fails to deliver the quality of experience that would be warranted at the high prices that are charged . The service is sloppy and unreliable, the seafood of only average quality and the wine list overproced and unimaginative. One to avoid.
Very surprised at the comments! This restaurant specializing in seafood is Royan's best on the freshness and quality of the presentation. The only one to offer royal lobsters (very large) for 24 E on all Royan! A friendly and caring boss of his clients. It changes the seafront canteens!
Frankly I have eaten here with my darling.I will never forget to welcome pleasant with the smile we took a hot seafood tray a delight. Thanks to the staff for having our night in love for a magical moment
