Beyond awesome. Our second visit to this amazing restaurant. The food was simply perfect and the service excellent. Started with small veloute appetiser and we selected the starter of cèpe velouté which was sublime. This was followed by a citrus sorbet paler cleanser, then our main course of filet de bar with butter sauce. A whole fish beautifully cooked. Cheese trolley next with a great selection and then chocolate vanilla and truffles soufflé. Coffee and petite fours. Every course perfectly cooked and perfectly presented. Kir royal for first drink. Then a glass of good Bordeaux. Nothing but positive here for our second visit and we will be back again and again. I have eaten in top Michelin star restaurants in London and top restaurants in New York and other cities around the world but none come close to the dining experience here. Top top quality without being pompous and up themselves. Love it. And finally, we are able to take our chihuahuas in with us which is beyond incredible. (But they are superbly well behaved and never make a fuss or noise)
One of the best value for money. And pairing like cerise clafoutis with foie gras makes the experience unique. A nice succulent Limousin steak followed but not after a tasty trou normand. The whole evening was great, bar the waiter who could possibly have been trained in Paris :
Came across this restaurant on our way back from vacation in Le Gers. Their « truffe » menu just great. Personnel very qualified and a good sense of humour of the maître d’hotel. Also try their « soufflé aux agrumes » a killer.
A really beautiful lunch that delighted us. The service and attention to detail were a joy to experience topped off with the lightest soufflés we have ever had.
