the carré deau is the best place in the opposite to lunch, as proved by its popularity among the natives. the menu du jour is always carefully made, openly greedy, for those of us who do not work the fields throughout the day, and will cost them nothing besides. my family and I spent many happy hours under the fig tree with a piché de rosé.
