Le Bistro 1911 - Table reservation

We were greeted by a man ticking on his watch and threatening he would not take our orders if we didn’t come in instantly. We were locking our bikes indeed 5 minutes later than our reservation, because there was no visible sign of ‘Le Bistro 1911’. Apparently guests ought to know that the restaurant they booked at is actually called differently. Admittedly though, the food is good. Not exceptional, but good. The waiter and waitress were friendly and the terrace where we were seated is nice. Too bad nobody ever came or checked if we wanted something more to drink, even after all glasses were empty half way through our lunch. Unfortunately, the friendliness of the other waiters and the taste of the food could not make up for a disappointing customer experience facilitated by their manager.

Have eaten here many times and hope to do so many more. The quality of food and service are excellent and the staff friendly but professional. Today was the first day of opening after lockdown so it was much quieter than usual. Hope to return soon. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Very warm welcome by the staff, good advice on the menu and the wines to combine with. Regional plates (ALIGOT) very good. Stingray wing, bisque with lobster, very nice. We'll be back!!

This was not our first visit... we have visited the restaurant at Hotel Terminus in its various guises for many, many years and never disappointed.
